Luxury Villa Entrance Floor
A villa entrance hall centred on a waterjet marble medallion, framed by a running border and complemented by a book-matched marble feature wall.
Fabrication process
The medallion and borders were waterjet-cut from multiple marbles, dry-assembled and numbered in the factory, with the feature wall laid out so the book-match read symmetrically.
Challenges
Aligning a large multi-stone medallion with surrounding fields and borders, and achieving tight, even joints throughout.
Solution
The floor arrived as a numbered kit set out to the room, so installers assembled it to a plan and polished in place.
Outcome
A symmetrical, tight-jointed feature floor and a matching statement wall.
