The Problem

Buying stone shouldn’t cost you your weekends and your margin.

You specified a stone. The client approved a sample. Then a different lot turned up, the mason decided where the joints land, and the wastage came back on the bill with your name next to it. Buying from overseas, it is the same story at longer range — a supplier who goes quiet once the container sails, and problems you only discover after customs. These are the failures we exist to remove.

Travelling just to select and inspect
Shade variation between lots and phases
On-site cutting, chipped edges and dust
Wastage and breakage billed back to you
A quoted rate, then add-on charges
Crates arriving broken or out of sequence
Delivery slipping past your handover date
No set-out drawing, so site improvises

Our Solution

One partner. From drawings to your site.

A single coordinated process replaces the chain of trader, cutter, polisher, transporter and freight agent — so the detail carries all the way through to installation-ready delivery. Whether the address is a site in Gurugram or a yard in Houston.

Why Karma Stone Engineering

We take the stone risk off your project.

20+ Years on Demanding Projects

Leadership that delivered stone to Gulf project standards for two decades. That same discipline now runs on Indian sites.

Installation-Ready Fabrication

Cut to size, edges finished, pieces numbered to the set-out. Your team lays — it doesn’t cut.

One Coordinator, Your Hours

A single named person from drawing to delivery — on WhatsApp, email or a call scheduled in your time zone, answering the same working day.

Approve Your Lot Remotely

Photos and video of the actual material before it is cut. No trip to Kishangarh, and no flight to India, required.

All-Inclusive Rates, Clean Paperwork

Cutting, polishing, edges and packing sit inside the quoted rate. GST tax invoice for Indian orders; FOB or CIF with full documentation for export.

Delivered To Site Or To Port

Crated for road transport and delivered pan-India, or containerised, loaded and export-documented to your port.

Built To Your Drawings

What we make matches what you specified. Phase after phase.

How We Ensure Quality

Checked before it leaves the factory, not after it reaches you.

Quality is a sequence, not a promise on a call. Every order moves through the same controlled steps, and you see the inspection photos before the truck or the container loads — because approving material after it has cleared customs is not approving anything.

FAQ

Common questions, answered.

What architects, builders and importers ask us before the first order — rates, invoicing, quality, delivery and shipping.

Do you own a factory, or are you a trading company?

We are a stone engineering and supply partner — not a paper trader, and not tied to a single plant. We source material and coordinate fabrication through a vetted network of quarries and fabrication units across India, overseen by leadership with more than 20 years delivering stone on real projects. That gives you far broader material and capacity options than any single factory, with one accountable person from drawings to delivery.

Can you fabricate to our drawings and specifications?

Yes, and that is the whole point of how we work. Send us DWG, PDF, a cutting list, or even a photo of a hand sketch — in millimetres or in feet and inches, whichever your studio works in. We prepare shop and set-out drawings for your approval before anything is cut, so your joint lines, borders and vein direction land where you drew them, not where the mason decides.

Do you supply within India, export, or both?

Both, and neither is the side business. Indian orders are crated, numbered and sent by road to your site with a delivery date you can plan your finishing schedule around. Export orders are containerised, loaded and coordinated on FOB or CIF terms with the documentation handled end to end. Same drawings, same inspection, same packing discipline — only the last leg changes.

How do I know the stone will match what I approved?

You approve control samples first, then photos and video of your actual lot — numbered slabs, in daylight — before anything is cut. Where consistency matters we block-match or batch-match, and we can reserve a block for a later phase so Tower B still matches Tower A. You should not have to drive to Kishangarh, or fly to India, to be sure of your own specification. Overseas buyers get the same lot photography plus pre-dispatch and container-stuffing photos, so the approval happens on the factory floor rather than at your unloading bay.

Is your rate all-inclusive, and how do you invoice?

The rate we quote includes cutting, polishing, edge profiles, packing and freight to the point we agree, so nothing appears afterwards as an extra for loading, wastage or transport. Indian orders are billed on a GST-compliant tax invoice so your client or accounts team can account for the spend properly. Export orders are quoted on FOB or CIF with a commercial invoice and packing list your customs broker can work from without coming back to you for corrections.

What happens if material arrives damaged or is not what we ordered?

Orders are inspected and photographed before dispatch, and packed in foam-lined, strapped timber crates built for road transport or sea freight rather than loaded loose — which is why most transit damage never happens in the first place. If a genuine breakage or a discrepancy does occur, we work with you on replacement or re-fabrication, and on export orders we can consolidate replacements into your next consignment. The exact handling is agreed in writing before the order is confirmed, not negotiated afterwards.

What are your typical lead times?

It depends on stone availability, quantity and fabrication complexity, but most orders move from approved drawings to dispatch within a few weeks. Indian deliveries are usually quicker than export because there is no sea leg. You receive a firm timeline together with your quote, and your coordinator updates you at each stage rather than leaving you to chase.

Which countries do you export to, and who handles shipping and documents?

We coordinate export worldwide — the Gulf, the UK and Europe, North America, Australia and beyond. That includes professional packing, container loading, stuffing photos and the full export documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and whatever else your port needs. We quote on FOB or CIF, and one coordinator stays with the consignment until it is cleared and unloaded, rather than going quiet the day it sails.

How do we get started?

Book a call or upload your drawings. We will review buildability, recommend suitable stone and finishes, and come back with an all-inclusive rate and a timeline you can put straight in front of your client. From there, one coordinator stays with the project through to installation-ready delivery.
